Enrolling at The Summit Academy
Round 1 Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year opened on December 5, 2023, and closed January 12, 2024.
Round 1 Lottery Offers were sent to families around January 23, 2024.
Round 2 Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year opened January 18, 2024, and will close August 31, 2024.
We look forward to meeting you and helping you decide if Summit is a good fit for your child. NEW FAMILY MEETINGS ARE REQUIRED TO VERIFY THAT PARENTS UNDERSTAND THE COMBINATION OF A HOMESCHOOL AND PART TIME PUBLIC SCHOOL PROGRAM.
The Summit Academy is a program affiliated with Jefferson Academy Charter School, a JeffCo charter school located in the Westminster/Broomfield area. The Summit Academy is a K-12 Choice Enrollment school. Summit was specifically designed to meet the needs of homeschooling families.
The greatest strength of The Summit Academy, next to an amazing student body, is the variety of options available while honoring parent choice in their child's education.
Most Summit students are homeschooled and attend classes one day per week to complement their homeschool program. College-ready high school students may participate in Concurrent Enrollment, taking classes at a local community college and earning both high school and college credit. Summit students who take college classes may choose to participate in our full-time program, incorporating Summit and college classes to satisfy graduation requirements and earn a JeffCo high school diploma. Summit students in grades 11-12 may also participate in Warren Tech.

follow the below instructions (beginning December 5th)
Current Families
Click HERE to re-enroll via EnrollJeffco. Select the purple EnrollJeffco button in the center. Move through the prompts to verify that you will be returning to Summit. You should receive a confirmation email/text soon after submission. NOTE: Please MAKE SURE your email, address and phone numbers are correct in your Infinite Campus account.
If you are a current family who is interested in changing your attendance day, please complete the Day Change form here.
New Families
Click HERE to apply via Enroll Jeffco. Select the purple EnrollJeffco button in the center (if you are new to Jeffco you will first be instructed to create a Jeffco Infinite Campus account). After logging into EnrollJeffco move through the prompts to complete the application process. Please MAKE SURE your email, address and phone numbers are correct in your Infinite Campus account! Acceptance offers will be sent starting around January 24th. Please note that a parent from all new families MUST attend one of our New Family Meetings (see link below to sign up).
New Family Meetings
Families new to Summit must attend a New Family Meeting, however, New Family Meetings have been completed. Any families who have enrolled, but were not able to attend a New Family Meeting will be contacted in the spring to go over important material.
Current families
If your family WILL NOT be returning, or MIGHT NOT be returning, for the 2024-25 school year OR you would like to request an attendance day change please go here and complete the appropriate form.
Concurrent Enrollment and Warren Tech
Students wishing to participate in Concurrent Enrollment or in Warren Tech through Summit should follow all Summit Academy enrollment procedures and then contact the Summit office to let us know about their interest. Each of these programs has its own prerequisites and program paperwork that must be completed in addition to Summit Academy enrollment paperwork. Students will only be allowed to enroll in these programs if they complete both parts of the process.
